I am a Case CATalyst scopist and proofreader. I completed scopist training through Internet Scoping School, where I learned to read steno and edit in Case CATalyst. I bring with me six years of experience in proofreading transcripts for freelancers, officials, and transcribers. I have worked with a variety of jurisdictions, including federal courts. I have experience with a range of proceedings: criminal court trials, civil court trials, hearings of all kinds, arbitrations, family court, divorce cases, depositions, and board meetings.
I have experience in proofing and editing with full audio, including proceedings with difficult accents and interpreters. I have a knack for accents that can help you with those tough interpreted proceedings. I also have experience with difficult subject matter, thus I can stay focused and continue editing for context. I love that I am able to help clients free up their time and prevent burnout. Send me your files to scope or proof so that you can stop feeling burnt out from your packed schedule and take the break you deserve. In my free time I enjoy hiking and reading crime novels. I am originally from the East Coast, but I now live in Colorado with my husband, daughter, and our pup, Dexter. |
